Bonus Wisdom

These are questions that I asked Judy outside our interview. You are going to love her answers!

What is 1 thing you believe every woman entrepreneur should know?

Be focused…you can’t help everyone.

When is a time in your life when you went through a challenge or felt like giving up?

When I started in the insurance industry. I was the only woman and I didn’t know anything at all and no one wanted to teach me.

How did you overcome this?

I changed my mindset.

What did you learn from it?

Learn something new every day. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Find those that are willing to be your champions.

What is the one area of life or business you have expertise in?

Women in business.

What is one thing you want to share about this that will make all the difference for women?

Same as above-Don’t be afraid to ask for help and identify your champions.

What is one thing that you wish someone told you that you had to learn the hard way?

I am WAY more than enough…I’m awesome.

Please tell me about your family. What is one of the biggest challenges you have faced with balancing work, family, and taking care of yourself & what did you learn from it?

I was a single mom with 2 children for 19 years. My family was and will always be my priority. I became extremely organized. 8 years ago, I met someone (aka “The Colonel”). We got married almost 7 years ago and he is my biggest cheerleader and champion of women.

What helps you balance these roles now?

My strategic triangle.

What is one resource that you love (a book, app, service)?

Good old fashioned blotter size calendar.

If you have written books or have a blog, what are the titles and where can I find them?

I have written 4 – Selling In A Skirt, Famous Isn’t Enough, Pure Wealth, and Walking on the Glass Floor. They are all available on my website(s) and Amazon.

If you have written several books, which one is most relevant to women intrapreneurs and entrepreneurs?

Walking on the Glass Floor.
